Square Bale Spike

The Square Bale Spike needs to be fitted to the Universal Carriage before it can be attached to the front end loader. This attachment is designed to handle large square bales, although round bales may also be handled depending on the tine configuration.

The attachment is fitted with four tines as standard (five tines in the Extra Wide Square Bale Spike—ideal for export bales) and these are driven into the long side of the bale to give maximum support to the bale while being handled.

A backrest extension is available as an option with this attachment to enable additional bales to be handled safely. The Square Bale Spike can be fitted with a number of tine configurations to suit your individual needs.

All tines fit into a tapered sleeve and are removable.
